Ordering a Caravan Mattress & Caravan Cushions

Ordering custom cut foam for caravans is easy with Foam Factory! All it takes is 5 steps to get the foam you need. And with our next working day delivery service, you could have your new caravan mattress, caravan cushions or both in no time at all!

To begin ordering your caravan foam, start by choosing a suitable foam shape template. As you can see, on this page we have selected some of our most popular caravan foam shapes. If you can’t see the shape you need here, be sure to check our homepage for our full collection.

If you still can’t see what you need, then choose the custom foam shape instead. This is a unique shape that will allow you to order a custom shape made using a template that you provide us with. The template can be a digital file or a physical template that you can send to us in the post. If you have any questions about ordering a custom foam shape, please feel free to get in touch with the team.

Once you’ve chosen a foam shape, you’ll need to input your measurements. You can enter these in 3 ways, using centimeters, millimeters or inches. If you’re ordering using the custom shape, simply enter the maximum size of each dimension that you require.

When you have given us the measurements, you’ll be asked to choose which foam you would like us to make your caravan mattress or caravan cushions from. Each foam grade is accompanied by a description that will give you more details about it. If you’re unsure whether a certain foam is suitable for your requirements, we will be happy to provide you with our own recommendations.

The next step is to choose if you would like Dacron or stockinette. These can sometimes be useful for caravan cushions to help increase loft and reduce friction between the cover and the foam.

What’s the Best Foam for a Caravan Mattress?

It’s important to choose the right foam to be sleeping on when you’re ordering a caravan mattress. Your preference may vary but we usually recommend a combination of medium feel foam (10cm roughly) and a top layer of memory foam topper (5cm roughly). If you’d like us to laminate (stick together) these foam layers we can do that for you.

What Shape Should I Choose?

From our templates, you should choose the shape with the closest match to what you think you’ll require based on your current cushions or mattress/bed base. Please note that you should choose the custom shape if the shape differs from the original template (for example if there’s an extra edge, a curved corner etc). If you need a custom shape our team can work with a template that you provide us with.

Do You Upholster Caravan Cushions?

We do not currently offer a caravan cushion upholstery service. We offer cut-to-size foam for caravans with the option to include Dacron and stockinette. If you are unable to use your preexisting covers or simply want to change their style, we recommend speaking to a professional upholsterer.

What Does Caravan Foam Cost?

Depending on the dimensions that you provide us with for your caravan cushions or mattresses, the price we will quote you will vary.
